About the restaurant

In music CODA means a special, separate part of the composition played only once at the very end. Our idea of CODA means an extraordinary dining experience, set in the unique interiors of the
Aria Hotel Prague, in the heart of Lesser Town, whose 51 luxurious Rooms and Suites underwent extensive and complete refurbishment in the first quarter of 2018. Hotel interiors as well as CODA Restaurant was designed by Italian architects Rocco Magnoli and Lorenzo Carmellini, who are especially famous for their lifelong collaboration with legendary fashion designer Gianni Versace. Inside you will find many works of art and a number of original paintings, sculptures and statues by artists from Dali, Chagall, Kodet, Frank von Stuck, and Myslbek to Picasso. The musical orientation of the restaurant is also reflected by the live piano performances that take place in the restaurant every evening from Tuesday to Saturday, and last but not least, the musical caricatures of Josef Blecha depicted on the plates.

About the terrace

Just sitting on the Terrace is an experience alone. When imaginative creations of the Executive Chef Igor Chramec are added, it is a symphony for all the senses.Taste buds and olfactory cells get inspired by sensual variations of Igor's cuisine, which is characterized by abundant use of local ingredients from local farmers, preferably in organic quality and prepared to accentuate the natural flavour of each of the resorted ingredients. Your ears will be delighted by unassuming melodies emanating from the ubiquitous speakers - what else could you expect in a place consecrated to music? Neither your eye will be left without an unforgettable experience. The terrace offers a 360° view of the entire Prague and looking at all the treasures of the Golden City, you will want to test the last of the five human senses, touch - Prague Castle, Petřín Tower and St. Nicholas cathedral - as they were at reach of your fingertips!

Executive Chef Igor Chramec

Starting this September 2023, the young, talented Executive Chef Igor Chramec, who last worked in the Zátiší group, took over the helm of the Chef of the popular CODA restaurant in the music hotel Aria on the Malá Strana. Igor cooked not only in Czech republic but also abroad and some of the restaurants he worked in were declared the best restaurants in their countries, and his portfolio also includes several famous restaurants awarded one or two Michelin stars.

Winter Garden and Atrium

The conservatory with a piano and glass roof will enchant you with its unique atmosphere. It can hold up to 80 people standing and is an ideal place to hold banquets, press conferences or corporate parties. The conservatory can be connected with the hotel Atrium, thereby creating space for up to 150 people.

Library with fireplace

This intimate space with a lit fireplace can be rented for a romantic dinner for two, and as an original place to celebrate an engagement, birthday or wedding anniversary. Of course, there is complete privacy and perfect service.

Vrtba garden

This unique cascading garden is a UNESCO heritage site and is always open to guests of the restaurant from April to October, offering an incredible venue for organizing festive annual events or corporate parties. The garden can also be used as a place for a welcome drink and to add some color for your conference guests.

Screening Room and Music Box

Two private cinemas for 12 people or 6 can be used for a family screening, watching live sports with friends or as a unique place for a romantic dinner while watching a movie on the big screen. Both rooms are equipped with very comfortable chairs or sofas, superior sound technology, and the choice your favorite film from a media library of more than 5,000 DVDs.

Boardroom

This meeting room is designed for 10 people and is equipped with the latest conference technology, comprising LCD Smart TV, Apple TV, magnetic board, telephone conference calls, flip-chart and Wi-Fi internet access.

Rooftop Terrace

This unique place will enchant you with its beautiful views of the rooftops in Lesser Town and its very pleasant atmosphere. Treat your loved one to an original place where you can enjoy both a great lunch and romantic dinner or a glass of wine with a delicious dessert. The terrace can also be rented privately for your celebrations and other important events. The terrace is open only during good weather. The restaurant seats 30, standing capacity is 70.
